Israel strikes Beirut as attacks across Lebanon kill 14

Israeli forces struck Beirut for the second time since the 17 April ceasefire, and carried out numerous attacks across the south. It was the first attack by Israel on the Lebanese capital in weeks and could complicate efforts by the United States and Iran to agree to a peace deal to end the war in Iran.
