West Ham United has officially appointed former captain Scott Parker as their new head coach, signing him to a two-and-a-half-year contract. This decision comes in the wake of the dismissal of Nuno Espírito Santo, who was let go after a disappointing start to the season.

Nuno Espírito Santo was fired just 13 games into West Ham's campaign in the EFL Championship, where the team is striving to secure promotion back to the Premier League after being relegated on the final day of the previous season. The club's management saw the need for a change to revitalize their efforts for a swift return to top-flight football.S2

Scott Parker, who previously captained West Ham, returns to the club in a pivotal role. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to leverage his familiarity with the club and its culture, aiming to inspire the team towards a successful season ahead.S1
