In a commanding performance during their home opener, the Minnesota Timberwolves secured a 117-94 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. Anthony Edwards led the charge with an impressive 26 points in just 27 minutes of play, showcasing his scoring prowess and helping the Timberwolves maintain their unbeaten streak this season. The Raptors, who were missing their star player Kawhi Leonard, struggled to keep pace with the Timberwolves' hot shooting throughout the game.

LaMelo Ball also made a notable contribution for the Timberwolves, scoring 15 points and hitting 4 of 5 attempts from beyond the arc in 16 minutes. However, his time on the court was limited due to foul trouble, which affected his ability to impact the game more significantly in his regular-season debut. Despite these challenges, the Timberwolves' depth and shooting efficiency proved too much for the Raptors, who were unable to mount a comeback after falling behind early in the game.S1S2

This victory marks a strong start for the Timberwolves, who are looking to build on their early success in the season. The Raptors, on the other hand, will need to regroup quickly as they face the challenge of competing without their key player, Kawhi Leonard, who is crucial to their offensive strategy. The Timberwolves' next game will be a test of their consistency as they aim to extend their winning streak further into the season.S1S2
