The Miami Dolphins have announced the elevation of kicker Zane Gonzalez and edge rusher Max Llewellyn to the active roster ahead of their game this Sunday. This decision comes as the team looks to bolster its lineup for the matchup, which is crucial for their season aspirations.

Zane Gonzalez, 31, joined the Dolphins' practice squad on October 20 and made an immediate impact by successfully converting all four extra points in last week’s victory over the New York Jets. Gonzalez previously had a stint with the Dolphins during the offseason program and training camp but faced setbacks due to injuries, being placed on injured reserve in August before being released with an injury settlement on August 19.S2

Max Llewellyn's elevation marks a significant opportunity for the edge rusher to contribute to the Dolphins' defense as they prepare for their upcoming challenges. The team’s strategic decisions reflect their commitment to enhancing performance as they navigate the remainder of the season.S1
